INVESTORS IN PEOPLE SCOTLAND

 

Stornoway Port Authority Board, at their recent meeting had a copy of The Chairman of Investors in People Scotland's letter confirming that the Port Authority had been successful in maintaining the principles of the Investors in People National Standard.

 

In his letter the Chairman of IIP Scotland said "I recognise the commitment necessary to adhere to the rigorous standards set when Stornoway Port Authority first became an Investor in People. Your continued success is a testament to your committed management and involved employees and the effort that you have together invested in pursuit of improvement."

The Board was pleased to note the renewal of the Investors in People standard for a further 3 years.

The Port Authority is controlled by an independent appointed (and/or elected) board.
